Jazz Maui presents Sunset Jazz featuring SHELL YEAH, a quartet of Maui musicians including vocalist Sheryl Renee, guitarist Shawn McLaughlin, U-bass and bassist Barney Cortez, and drummer and cajon player Ian Hollingsworth. The group brings a fun and soulful flavor to cover popular songs that range from standards to dance hits. They have built an impressive following with those who love to call out “SHELL YEAH’.
The Hula Honeys are longtime friends, Robyn Kneubuhl and Ginger Johnson, who play a wide range of music including jazz, swing, Tin Pan Alley, vintage blues, and world music. Blending vintage Hapa Haole songs with hip jazz classics, they create a swinging sweet sound all their own.
Internationally-acclaimed song-stylist and Grammy-nominated lyricist Mary Anne Anderson has a smooth style. Her voice is expressive and warm making it perfectly matched for the timeless classics and original songs she performs. Her flair for languages makes her interpretation of melody and lyrics an authentic jazz experience.
Jazz Maui Little Big Band, a 13-member band including six horns and a full rhythm section, this group of visiting and local professional musicians plays a variety of different composers and jazz styles – from Duke Ellington to Tower of Power and everything in between.

With multiple talents and experiences in musical theater, vocal jazz and classical soprano singing, Joy Belt-Roselieb has dedicated the last 25 years of her career to teaching vocal music at South High School in Downers Grove, Illinois. Her highly advanced students have produced amazing concert performances year after year in places from Illinois All-State Festivals, to venues in New York, London, and Austria. As a musician, Joy is equally at home on stage as a big band jazz vocalist, directing high school musicals and choral ensembles, or as a soprano soloist with professional choirs and orchestras. Her passion for singing can be heard in the rich and smooth tones of her jazz voice all the way through the thrilling coloratura of her operatic brilliance.
